Each bar end is plugged and tapped with an M8x1.25 threaded insert to create a secure, reliable mounting point for aftermarket wrap-around hand guards, helping prevent expansion plugs from pulling out or spinning after impacts. Not running hand guards? Each set includes aluminum grip guards and stainless bolts to help protect your grips and sensitive throttle tube in case of a get-off. The 1-1/8 inch (28.6mm) clamping diameter tapers down to 7/8 inch (22.2mm) to fit standard controls, and the bars are made from 7010 T6 aluminum tubing with computer-extruded variable wall thickness to reduce vibration and enhance comfort.

Tapped bar-end mounting

These handlebars eliminate the hassle of hand guard expansion plugs by using bar ends that are plugged and tapped with an M8x1.25 threaded insert. That threaded mounting point is intended for all aftermarket wrap-around hand guards, helping keep the mounting secure and reliable. The design is described to reduce the chance of plugs pulling out or spinning during crashes and impacts with obstacles.

Grip protection included

Each set includes aluminum grip guards and stainless bolts.
