The SHOEI CW-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is a replacement visor designed to help a rider stay focused when conditions change. Offered in Clear, Dark Smoke, Hi-Def Yellow, Light Smoke, Spectra Blue, Spectra Chrome, Spectra Fire Orange, and Spectra Gold, it’s a simple way to tailor visibility for different light and weather.
Built for quick, tool-free changes, the CW-1 shield helps block wind, rain, and road debris while supporting clear vision on the move. It also works with the Pinlock® CWR-1/CW-1/CNS-1 Pinlock® EVO Lens Insert (sold separately) for fog-management capability across a wide range of environments.
The CW-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield uses SHOEI’s quick-release design for fast, tool-free swaps. That makes it easier to adapt when lighting fades, weather moves in, or a shield needs to be changed between rides—without adding extra steps or tools to the process.
This visor is compatible with the Pinlock® CWR-1/CW-1/CNS-1 Pinlock® EVO Lens Insert (sold separately). Adding the insert is a straightforward way to help reduce fogging and support consistent visibility when temperature and humidity shift during commuting, touring, or everyday riding.
A built-in UV filter rated at >99% helps manage sun exposure while riding.
Shield
The CW-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is designed to shield against wind, rain, and debris encountered on the road. By helping keep the rider’s view clear of the elements, it supports more consistent vision in day-to-day riding conditions and helps reduce distractions that can come from water spray, gusts, or airborne grit.
Safety Design
When weather or lighting changes, the CW-1 shield’s quick-release, tool-free design makes it easier to switch to another available option, such as Clear, Light Smoke, Dark Smoke, Hi-Def Yellow, or one of the Spectra finishes. It’s a practical approach for riders who prefer to match their face shield to the day’s forecast or time of day.
Fitment
For riders who deal with fogging during cool mornings, rain, or humid rides, the CW-1 shield is compatible with the Pinlock® CWR-1/CW-1/CNS-1 Pinlock® EVO Lens Insert (sold separately). That compatibility provides a pathway to add fog-resistant performance without changing the shield style or routine.
