The SHOEI Transitions® CWR-F2 Transitions® Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is a replacement visor designed specifically for SHOEI RF-1400 and SHOEI X-Fifteen helmets. It uses Transitions® photochromic technology to automatically darken or lighten as conditions change, helping maintain clear vision without stopping to swap shields mid-ride.
Precision-molded for visual clarity, it features an anti-reflective coating plus >99% UV filtering. For high-speed stability, the shield incorporates aerodynamic Vortex Generators and a reinforced edge intended to help the shield hold its shape. A center tab supports quick adjustments, and the helmet’s quick-change system enables fast, no-tool shield replacement.
Shield
Transitions® photochromic technology adjusts tint automatically as lighting changes. Light transmission shifts dynamically 23-80%, and it fades to 50% transmission in two minutes, reducing the need to carry or swap multiple shields during a ride. An integrated UV filter provides >99% UV blocking to help manage glare and sun exposure.
Fitment
Built with a focus on clear sightlines, the CWR-F2 Transitions® shield is precision-molded for distortion-free vision. An anti-reflective coating helps reduce distracting reflections in varying daylight conditions, while the UV filtering is rated at >99%. It is also Pinlock® ready for use with the compatible Pinlock® lens insert.
Aerodynamics
For stability at speed, the shield design includes aerodynamic Vortex Generators along with a reinforced edge intended to help maintain the shield’s shape in airflow. A center tab allows quick, positive adjustments when opening or closing the shield. It is also designed for fast, no-tool swaps using the helmet’s quick-change system.
Shield
This shield is compatible with the Pinlock® CWR-F2/CWR-F2R Lens Insert (sold separately) to help prevent fogging. Pairing the Pinlock® insert with the Pinlock® ready shield setup helps riders manage moisture buildup on cooler mornings, during humid conditions, or when stopped in traffic. Fitment is intended for SHOEI RF-1400 and SHOEI X-Fifteen helmets only, as listed in the compatibility section on the page.

The CWR-F2 Transitions® Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is made specifically for SHOEI RF-1400 and SHOEI X-Fifteen helmet shield systems.
