The Alpinestars Chrome Riding Shoes are street-focused motorcycle riding shoes built for urban use, including everyday commutes and short rides. They blend a modern, casual look with motorcycle-specific features, making them easy to wear on and off the bike.
A lightweight upper uses split suede for durability and comfort, while integrated ankle protectors plus heel and toe reinforcements add essential coverage in key areas. Underfoot, an advanced rubber compound cup sole with a PU mid sole is designed to balance comfort, grip, and durability, and the OrthoLite® insole supports day-to-day comfort.
Designed with everyday street riding in mind, the Chrome Riding Shoes include integrated, dual density ankle protectors, backed up by heel and toe reinforcements. An elastic closure at the top helps keep the lace loops secured, reducing the chance of loose laces flapping around or getting caught on the footrest.
A lightweight upper combines split suede to keep the feel casual while targeting durability and comfort. For long days around town, the shoes use a durable OrthoLite® insole, and a soft mesh panel at the rear collar area is added to enhance overall rider comfort where the shoe meets the ankle.
Alpinestars builds the Chrome on an advanced rubber compound cup sole paired with a PU mid sole. This sole package is intended to deliver an everyday balance of comfort, grip, and durability for street use, while still matching the shoe’s low-profile, modern silhouette.
Comfort
The Chrome Riding Shoes use the Alpinestars Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) in the sole structure. Built from lighter PA materials, this internal frame is part of Alpinestars’ advanced urban shoe development approach, aiming to maintain casual walking comfort while adding a protective element to the overall sole design for street riding.
