The Alpinestars CR-X Drystar Riding Shoes are adventure / street motorcycle riding shoes built for everyday riding with a running-shoe–inspired feel. They’re designed to balance on-bike support with walk-around comfort, making them a strong fit for commuting and casual rides.
A waterproof Drystar membrane is paired with a lightweight inner bootie for a snug fit, while a full-length TPU CE-certified inner sole plate and concealed TPU ankle discs add structure and protection. Underfoot, the oil-resistant dual-compound outsole uses an asymmetric stud layout for traction, and the 9mm sole “DROP” helps create a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
A waterproof Drystar membrane helps the CR-X handle wet conditions while keeping the shoe focused on all-day wear. Inside, a lightweight inner bootie is used to create a snug, comfortable fit that feels secure on the bike and practical when walking around off the bike.
For riding-focused support, the CR-X includes a full-length TPU CE-certified inner sole plate and concealed TPU ankle discs. The gear shift zone uses a durable, highly abrasion-resistant layer, backed by an internal EVA layer intended to reduce pressure in the shift area.
The oil-resistant dual rubber compound outsole is designed for traction, with an asymmetric stud configuration aimed at grip and durability. Alpinestars also sets the sole unit “DROP” at 9mm to promote a smooth heel-to-toe transition for a more natural step.
Comfort
The CR-X Drystar Riding Shoes build in dedicated shift-area detailing to improve comfort and durability where riders need it most. A durable, highly abrasion-resistant layer covers the gear shift zone, and an internal EVA layer is added to help reduce pressure in the shift area.
