The Alpinestars GP Plus R v4 Rideknit Leather Jacket is a street-focused motorcycle riding jacket built for riders who want a sleek leather look with the mobility to stay comfortable in an aggressive riding position.
Constructed from 1.3mm race-grade leather and engineered with stretch technology in key areas, it’s designed to move with the rider while maintaining a streamlined silhouette. For added capability, it is Tech-Air® ready for integration with Tech-Air® airbag systems (sold separately). The jacket also comes equipped with specialized shoulder armor and GP Lite elbow armor, and it is fully CE-certified to CE - Category II EN17092-3: 2020 standard - AA class.

Fitment
To keep movement natural, the jacket uses Alpinestars Composite Stretch (A-CS® Plus) technology stretch panels on the torso and Rideknit® engineered inner arms. Extensive technical stretch panels under the arms, on the inner arms, and around the neck help refine the fit while supporting flexibility and comfort during street riding.
Construction
For impact coverage, the jacket includes GP Lite elbow armor and specialized shoulder armor. Dual-density DFS shoulders are incorporated for friction control. It is also fully CE-certified as a riding garment to CE - Category II EN17092-3: 2020 standard - AA class, aligning the jacket’s construction and protection-focused features with a recognized standard.
