The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Tech-Air® 3 v2 Leather Vest is a packable, fully autonomous active airbag system designed to operate without any external connections or sensors on the motorcycle. Built with a cow leather outer chassis and comfort-focused details, it’s made to be worn when you ride and stored easily when you don’t.
Tech-Air® 3 v2 incorporates six integrated sensors (accelerometers and gyroscopes) for crash monitoring performance in various riding situations—even when stopped—and activates automatically via the magnetic zip closure. A discreet LED display on the front chest indicates operational status, and a haptic alert vibrates to confirm the system is armed and to alert you when the battery is running low.
For everyday usability, the vest includes perforated panels on the upper chest and shoulders, ribbed leather elasticated side panels for comfort and expansion volume, multiple zippered pockets (including a sunglasses channel), and a waist loop for attaching gloves or other items. Bluetooth low energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity to the Tech-Air® App lets you monitor system and battery status, access MyRide mapping, and verify software versions for updates.
