The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Tech-Air® Off-Road Airbag System is an advanced protection system designed for riders who want active airbag coverage for off-road and street riding.
With the active airbag inflated, it delivers full chest and full back protection, plus coverage to the shoulders, neck, and collarbones in the event of a crash. The system comes pre-loaded with three Riding Modes (ENDURO, RALLY, and STREET), and it’s designed for straightforward operation with an LED display and Tech-Air® App support.
Convenience features like dual charge capability for two separate airbag deployments, USB-C charging via the LED display, and removable ECU/airbag components (so the protection jacket can be washed separately) help make this system easier to live with between rides.

- Integrated charging port on the LED display for USB-C charging
- Auto on/off operation: zip up the system to turn on and activate; unzip to automatically turn off
- ECU and airbag are completely removable so the Protection Jacket can be washed separately
- Shipping Mode switch (accessible once the electronic case on the back protector is removed) disconnects the battery during transportation or prolonged storage; system is sold with Shipping Mode turned on
- FIM Cross Country Rally Regulations homologated for race use
