The Warp 9 Racing Closeout - Ultra Drive is a chain drive conversion kit designed for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee as an alternative to the OEM belt drive. It’s built for riders who are tired of breaking Sur-Ron drive belts, while keeping the final drive ratio the same as the OEM belt setup. The kit centers around two steel sprockets that feature vulcanized rubber dampener rings to reduce the harsh ringing sound typical of steel sprockets and to change how the chain initially contacts the sprocket. Included in the kit are 2 dampened sprockets in EDM coated black steel and a KMC 520 O ring chain.
Both the motor sprocket and the jackshaft sprocket use rubber dampener rings vulcanized directly to the sprockets. This design causes the inner plates of the chain to contact the rubber outer rings before the chain’s rollers fully seat in the bottom of the sprocket, while also helping dampen the ringing effect common with steel sprockets.
Ultra Drive Contents include 2 dampened sprockets in EDM coated black steel plus a KMC 520 O ring chain. The kit is intended as a chain drive conversion for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee, replacing the OEM belt drive setup with a 520 chain system.
