This larger-format fēnix pairs advanced performance tools with everyday smart features, including built-in mapping and multi-band GPS, an integrated LED flashlight, and a speaker and microphone for voice features. It also supports 24/7 health and wellness tracking, plus dive features with a 40-meter dive rating, making it a strong fit for athletes and adventurers who want one watch for training, navigation, and daily life.
Battery
The Power Sapphire™ solar charging lens helps extend time between charges, with battery life rated up to 30 days (48 days with solar) in smartwatch mode. Multiple power profiles support everything from daily wear to long GPS sessions, with solar charging assumptions detailed in the specifications below.
Connectivity
A built-in speaker and microphone enables Bluetooth phone calling when paired to a compatible smartphone. The watch also supports voice command control for watch functions, and it can use a smartphone’s voice assistant for tasks such as replying to text messages when paired.
Training
A built-in LED flashlight provides variable light intensities plus a red safety light for low-light awareness. For running, the strobe mode can match running cadence, offering a convenient way to stay visible and keep moving when light conditions change.
Durability
Built for demanding conditions, this fēnix is dive-rated and features leakproof buttons and a metal sensor guard cover. The always-on 1.4” solar charged display uses a scratch-resistant sapphire lens with a titanium bezel. Garmin notes it’s tested to U.S. military standards for thermal, shock and water resistance, and it carries a 10 ATM water rating for everyday confidence.
Navigation
On-wrist navigation is backed by TopoActive maps and preloaded maps for golf courses and ski resorts around the world. Dynamic round-trip routing helps generate routes based on how far to go while guiding back on time. Trail awareness tools such as NextFork™ map guide, Up Ahead checkpoints, and courses with turn-by-turn directions help keep movement efficient whether training or exploring.
Training
Training tools are designed to connect effort with recovery, including training readiness, training status, recovery time, and daily suggested workouts that adapt after every run or ride. Performance insights include endurance score, hill score, race predictor estimates, PacePro™ technology, and wrist-based running dynamics. Garmin Coach supports adaptive or prebuilt running, cycling, or strength training plans, with select plans adapting based on performance and health metrics.
