The FOX V1 Abyss Helmet is a full-face moto helmet built for riders who want a capable, feature-focused option with attention to fit and comfort. It’s designed around a lightweight injection molded polycarbonate and ABS shell construction intended to help disperse energy in the event of a crash, and it’s Mips equipped.
For long motos and varied conditions, the V1 Abyss uses a vent layout with 7 intake and 4 exhaust vents for airflow, plus a removable mouth vent cover and padded EVA chinbar.

Comfort
To help riders find the right feel across the size range, the V1 Abyss is built with multiple shell and EPS size combinations for a more precise fit. Inside, the comfort liner and cheek pads are removable and washable, making it easier to keep the helmet feeling fresh between rides.
Ventilation
Vent placement is designed for steady airflow, using 7 intake and 4 exhaust vents. Up front, the helmet includes a removable mouth vent cover and a padded EVA chinbar.
Comfort
The V1 Abyss Helmet meets ECE 22.06 and DOT certifications. It’s offered in adult sizes (XS-XXL), and FOX notes the model is also available in youth sizes (YS-YL). Construction
To help protect the helmet’s exterior finish over time, FOX advises avoiding exposure to aerosol sprays like bug repellent and sunscreens, as they can cause the helmet’s finish to peel.
