The FOX V3 RS Founders Helmet is a unisex full-face moto helmet built around a chopped carbon fiber shell and visor with custom titanium hardware. Created as a numbered run (1-74), it’s finished with signature Founders Edition details, including stainless steel trim and tinted pigment in the clearcoat for a subtle glow.
For performance-focused riding, it pairs a Mips® Integra Split impact protection system with an MDEPS™ EPS liner, plus induction vents on top designed to pull air in and aid in cooling.
Construction
This V3 RS Founders Helmet uses a chopped carbon fiber shell and matching visor, finished with custom titanium hardware. Visual details are part of the edition’s identity, including FOX Racing logos and a Geoffrey T. Fox signature set off with stainless steel trim, plus a tinted pigment in the clearcoat for a unique graphic application.
Comfort
Inside, the helmet uses a Mips® Integra Split impact protection system that combines two layers of EPS and is designed to reduce rotational forces in a crash. It also features an MDEPS™ EPS liner, meant to provide protection by spreading the forces of impact across a wider surface area.
Ventilation
A micro-suede liner and cheek pads add comfort, while top induction vents are strategically placed to pull air in and aid in cooling. It also includes hydration routing and is Eject compatible.
Included
Along with the helmet, this edition includes a spare visor and spare visor hardware. It also comes with a hydration-compatible mouthpiece to pair with the helmet’s routing system. For storage and transport, FOX includes a premium helmet bag with pockets sized for goggles, tearoffs, and various accessories, plus custom packaging that can be used as a helmet display.
Construction
Sizing is offered in XS through 2XL, and the design uses 5 shell and 5 EPS sizes to help provide a precise fit across the range. For care, FOX notes avoiding exposure to aerosol sprays such as bug repellent and sunscreens, as they can cause the helmet’s finish to peel. Materials are listed as 60% carbon, 30% EPS, 10% EPP.
