The HJC C71 Faber is a full-face motorcycle helmet built for everyday street riding, from daily commuting to longer road miles. It uses an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell to keep overall weight down while focusing on a secure, comfortable fit.
For changing conditions, the C71 combines HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System with a Pinlock-ready HJ-34P visor and an HJ-V12 dark smoke internal sun shield. The result is a practical setup for airflow management, clear vision, and quick glare reduction without having to stop and swap shields. It meets DOT FMVSS 218 standards.
Construction
The C71 is built around an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell intended to stay lightweight while supporting a secure fit for street use. Fit tuning is helped by interchangeable cheek pads across all helmet sizes, letting riders dial in comfort and stability without changing the helmet’s core sizing.
Ventilation
HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is designed to move air from front intake ports through the helmet and out the rear exhaust vents. This front-to-back flow helps manage heat and humidity during commutes and longer rides as speeds and temperatures change.
Shield
The Pinlock-ready HJ-34P visor is designed to provide a wide, distortion-free view, with an anti-scratch coating and 99% UV protection. A ratchet system supports smooth shield operation, and the integrated HJ-V12 dark smoke internal sun shield is there for quick adaptation when sunlight ramps up.
Ventilation
On the C71, HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System focuses on consistent airflow management for street riding. The HJC C71 meets DOT FMVSS 218. Its Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell is engineered to absorb impact energy while remaining lightweight. Comfort and fit adjustability are supported through removable and washable crown and cheek pads, along with interchangeable cheek pads across all helmet sizes, helping the helmet stay consistent in feel across a wide size range.
