The HJC C71 Novah is a lightweight full-face motorcycle helmet built for everyday street riding, from commuting to longer road miles. Its Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell (ACS) keeps weight down while focusing on a secure, comfortable fit, paired with modern sport styling.
For changing light and weather, the C71 combines HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System with a Pinlock-ready HJ-34P visor and an internal HJ-V12 dark smoke sun shield. The interior is designed for day-to-day usability with removable and washable crown and cheek pads, plus interchangeable cheek pads across all helmet sizes. It is also compatible with universal Bluetooth communication systems (sold separately).
Ventilation
HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is designed to pull air in through the front intake ports and route it through the helmet before exhausting out the rear vents. This front-to-back airflow helps move heat and humidity away from the rider as conditions change, supporting comfort during commutes and longer road rides.
Shield
The Pinlock-ready HJ-34P visor is designed for a wide field of view and clear optics, with an anti-scratch coating and 99% UV protection. A ratchet system supports smooth operation on the road. For bright conditions, the integrated HJ-V12 dark smoke internal sun shield can be deployed without stopping.
Comfort
The C71 uses an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell (ACS) intended to manage impact energy while keeping the helmet lightweight. Fit tuning is supported by interchangeable cheek pads across all helmet sizes. The helmet is built to meet DOT FMVSS 218 standards as listed in the specifications.

When sunlight becomes harsh, the integrated HJ-V12 dark smoke internal sun shield provides on-demand shade without swapping shields.
Comfort
For regular use, the C71 includes a comfort-oriented liner setup with removable and washable crown and cheek pads. Cheek pads are interchangeable across all helmet sizes, helping riders fine-tune fit without changing the helmet size. The helmet is also compatible with universal Bluetooth communication systems for riders who want to add audio or intercom capability (communication unit sold separately).
