HJC · C91 · Modular
The HJC C91 is a modular motorcycle helmet built for everyday riding, combining flip-up convenience with a lightweight feel and rider-friendly features. Its Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell is designed using advanced CAD technology to support fit and comfort, while the single-lever chin bar operation is made to be easy to use with gloves.
For changing light and airflow management, the C91 pairs a Pinlock®-ready HJ-17 visor with an integrated internal sun shield that moves forward and back using a manual mechanism. Ventilation is handled by HJC’s ACS design, pulling air in through intake vents and moving it through deep EPS channels to help keep the ride cooler. Inside, the SuperCool® liner and cheek pads use moisture-wicking, antibacterial fabric for added comfort.
The C91’s modular design adds day-to-day practicality, with a chin bar that opens using a single lever. The mechanism is designed to be glove-friendly, helping riders operate the front of the helmet more easily during stops, fueling, or quick conversations without removing the helmet.
The sun shield is controlled by a manual mechanism that allows straightforward forward-and-back movement, making it easier to adapt to shifting light conditions on commutes and longer rides.
The SuperCool® top liner and cheek pads use moisture-wicking, antibacterial fabric to support comfort in a range of conditions. For upkeep over time, the crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, making it simpler to maintain a clean feel with regular use.
Ventilation
The HJC C91 uses the Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS) to manage airflow through the helmet. Cool air is drawn in through front intake vents and routed through internal channels, while warm air is pushed out through rear exhaust vents. This flow path is designed to reduce heat buildup for a more comfortable ride and can help limit conditions that lead to fogging during changing temperatures.
Communication
The C91 is Ready for Smart HJC Bluetooth, supporting compatibility with the 10B or 20B systems (sold separately).
