The HJC C91 Taly Snow is a modular motorcycle helmet built for cold-weather riding while keeping everyday convenience in mind. Its Advanced polycarbonate composite shell is designed using CAD technology for a lightweight, well-balanced feel, and the chin bar is made to operate smoothly with gloved hands.
For changing light and winter conditions, it uses an HJ-V5 integrated sun shield and can be set up with an HJ-17 electric or dual lens shield. Venting is handled by HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, which routes airflow through deep EPS channels to help manage heat and moisture. It is also Smart HJC ready for 10B or 20B systems (sold separately) when communication is needed.
Comfort
The C91 Taly Snow pairs a modular design with winter-focused details for comfort in chilly conditions. The chin bar is designed to open and close easily with gloved hands, and the helmet includes a removable breath guard and chin curtain to help manage cold air and breath around the front opening.
Shield
This helmet uses the RapidFire™ shield replacement system for quick shield changes. It features an HJ-V5 integrated sun shield that can be adjusted to suit the conditions, and it is available with an HJ-17 electric or dual lens shield setup for riding in colder, moisture-prone weather.
Ventilation
HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System draws air in through front intakes and moves it through deep EPS channels before exhausting it out the rear to reduce heat buildup. Inside, the SuperCool® liner and cheek pads use moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial fabric, and the crown and cheek pads are removable and washable.
Ventilation
The C91’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS) is designed to circulate air from front intake vents to rear exhaust vents. As air moves through the helmet’s internal channels, it helps reduce heat buildup during active riding and supports more consistent comfort across changing conditions. This airflow management also helps reduce the conditions that can contribute to fogging, which can be especially helpful when temperatures and moisture levels fluctuate.
Communication
The C91 is Smart HJC ready for integration with the 10B or 20B Bluetooth systems (sold separately). This setup is intended to simplify adding communication features without modifying the helmet, supporting hands-free use for functions like communication, GPS navigation, and music when paired with the compatible system.
