HJC · F100 · Modular
The HJC F100 is a modular motorcycle helmet built for riders who want everyday versatility with the option to switch between full-face coverage and open-face convenience. With a smooth-operating chin bar and a balanced feel, it suits daily commuting and longer touring miles without adding complexity.
Its Pinlock®-ready HJ-45 shield setup is paired with an HJ-V12 dark smoke sun visor for adaptable visibility, while HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is designed to move air efficiently through the helmet. The F100 also includes a Pinlock® lens, plus a chin curtain and breath deflector to help tailor the ride experience. DOT FMVSS No.218 certified.
The F100 uses HJC’s advanced rotation system to manage chin bar movement for smooth transitions between closed and open configurations. This modular design supports the helmet’s day-to-day flexibility, making it a practical choice for riders who want one helmet that can adapt across commuting and touring use.
A Pinlock®-ready HJ-45 shield is used across sizes, with HJ-45a for XS, S, M and HJ-45b for L, XL, XXL. The shield has an anti-scratch coating and provides 99% UV protection, and the ratchet system is designed to make shield swaps straightforward. An HJ-V12 dark smoke sun visor adds 8mm of vertical adjustment.
HJC equips the F100 with its Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, developed from the brand’s experience designing MotoGP race helmets. The system is intended to support both aerodynamics and ventilation, helping manage airflow through the helmet during everyday rides and longer stretches in the saddle.
The F100’s ventilation is built around HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System. Drawing on HJC’s background in MotoGP helmet design, this system is engineered to support a focused path for air movement through the helmet while also considering aerodynamic efficiency.
The F100 uses a Pinlock®-ready HJ-45 shield with two size-specific versions: HJ-45a fits XS, S, M, while HJ-45b fits L, XL, XXL. The shield includes 99% UV protection and an anti-scratch coating to help maintain clear vision over time. A ratchet-style mechanism is used to keep operation secure and to simplify shield changes when it’s time to swap or replace a shield.
HJC designed the F100 around modular convenience with a focus on smooth, secure operation. The helmet’s modular design works with HJC’s advanced rotation system to guide chin bar movement during opening and closing. This approach supports quick transitions between configurations, giving riders flexibility for touring and commuting scenarios where stop-and-go moments or changing conditions can make an open-face option appealing.
