The HJC i72 Electra is a full-face motorcycle helmet built on the i72 platform and finished with bold, high-contrast Electra graphics for a standout street and touring look. It combines an APC Advanced Polycarbonate Compound shell with a 3-shell construction approach to help optimize fit across the size range.
For changing light and weather, it uses a Pinlock-ready HJ-52 face shield and an integrated HJ-V12 sun shield. Venting is handled by HJC’s ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System with 5 intake and 2 exhaust vents. Inside, an OEKO-TEX interior is designed to be moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and antibacterial, with removable, washable crown and cheek pads and a built-in glasses groove for eyewear compatibility.
Construction
The i72 Electra uses an APC Advanced Polycarbonate Compound shell paired with a 3-shell construction to help balance a lightweight feel with strong impact resistance and to better tune fit across the helmet’s size range. A Double D-Ring closure is used for a secure, track-style fastening approach.
Shield
Up front, the Pinlock Ready HJ-52 shield is designed with Optical Class 1 clarity for minimal distortion, along with an anti-scratch coating and 99% UV protection. For quick adaptation to changing light, the helmet also includes a distortion-free HJ-V12 integrated sun shield.

Airflow is managed by the ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, using 5 intake and 2 exhaust vents to move air through the helmet. Shield
The i72 Electra is equipped with an HJ-52 face shield that focuses on clear vision and daily durability. It’s Pinlock Ready, features Optical Class 1 clarity for minimal distortion, and adds an anti-scratch coating plus 99% UV protection. A Pinlock anti-fog lens is included to support fog management when conditions change.
Comfort
Inside, the helmet uses a moisture-wicking, quick-drying antibacterial liner with OEKO-TEX materials. Both the crown and cheek pads are removable and washable for easier upkeep, and the cheek pads are interchangeable across all sizes to help dial in fit. A dedicated glasses groove is built in to better accommodate riders who wear eyewear, and the setup is finished with an installed chin curtain and a breath deflector.
