The HJC i91 Dusk Snow is a modular motorcycle helmet built for cold-weather rides where comfort and visibility are priorities. Designed with a slim, streamlined front profile and a Polycarbonate Composite Shell, it’s shaped to keep a sleek fit while supporting a balanced feel on the road.
For changing winter conditions, the i91 uses the HJ-33 shield system with the option of a dual shield or an electric shield for clearer vision when fog, moisture, and temperature swings show up. Inside, a fully removable liner with interchangeable cheek pads across all sizes helps fine-tune fit, and there’s added accommodation for eyewear. A Double D-ring retention strap, reflective trim, and 2nd generation SMART HJC Bluetooth readiness (optional system sold separately) round out the package.
Construction
Built around a Polycarbonate Composite Shell, the i91 uses a slim, sleek front profile aimed at a streamlined fit. Fit coverage is supported by multiple shell sizes to help reduce bulk across the size range. It secures with a Double D-ring retention strap and carries DOT FMVSS No. 218 certification.
Shield
The HJ-33 shield system is designed for winter-focused riding, giving riders the choice of a dual shield or an electric shield for managing fog and changing moisture and temperature conditions. A Dynamic multi-step HJ-V12 internal sun shield adds quick, adjustable light control when daylight and glare shift.
Comfort
Enhanced air circulation is built in to help manage airflow inside the helmet. The interior is fully removable for a more personalized fit, and cheek pads interchange across all sizes for easier fine-tuning. Eyewear accommodation adds day-to-day convenience, and included shield vent plugs, a removable breath guard, and a chin curtain help tailor cold-weather comfort.
Shield
Winter conditions can swing from dry cold to wet and foggy in a single ride, and the i91 is set up to address that with the HJ-33 shield system. It’s available with an HJ-33 dual lens shield or an HJ-33 electric shield option to better manage fog, moisture, and temperature changes. The included shield vent plugs allow the rider to adjust how the shield vents in colder weather based on preference and conditions.
Comfort
The i91 focuses on a secure, comfortable fit with a fully removable interior that can be tailored over time. Interchangeable cheek pads across all sizes make it easier to fine-tune how the helmet holds around the face, while added accommodation for eyewear helps reduce pressure points for riders who wear glasses. For cold-weather riding, the included removable breath guard and chin curtain help manage airflow and comfort around the face and chin area.
Communication
The Bluetooth communication unit is optional and sold separately. This readiness is designed to support everyday convenience for commuting and touring when riders prefer integrated controls rather than add-on mounting solutions.
