The HJC RPHA 71 Teth is a full-face motorcycle helmet built for riders who split time between everyday commuting and longer touring miles. It focuses on a compact, lightweight feel paired with an aerodynamic shell shape intended to reduce air resistance and keep the ride stable and controlled at speed.
For changing light and weather, it uses the HJ-40 visor system with a Pinlock-ready design, plus an internal HJ-V12 sun visor that adjusts in three steps for a more personalized position. Venting is managed through top and low vents with an adjustable ventilation system designed to help reduce fogging, noise, and drag. It is DOT Approved.

Shield
A Pinlock-ready HJ-40 visor is paired with an anti-scratch coating and 99% UV protection for clear, durable everyday use. The visor uses a quick ratchet system for secure adjustment and a push-release visor lock. Inside, a dark smoke sun shield comes pre-installed, and the HJ-V12 sun visor offers a 3-step adjustable position.
Ventilation
Maximum performance top and low vents work with an adjustable ventilation system designed to reduce fogging, noise, and drag while riding. A front edge spoiler is also used to help reduce noise and air turbulence, supporting a smoother feel on both daily rides and longer highway stretches.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 71 is engineered around aerodynamic performance, using high-performance materials infused with epoxy resin and fiber tissue. Its shell structure is shaped to reduce air resistance for added stability at higher speeds, helping the helmet feel more controlled when conditions get windy or the pace increases. The front edge spoiler complements the shell design by aiming to reduce air turbulence and noise as airflow moves across the helmet.
Communication
It works with the 11B, 21B, and 50B communication units (sold separately), supporting a streamlined setup for hands-free communication and entertainment while riding. This built-in readiness helps keep the helmet’s fit and function focused on riding, while still allowing communication to be added when desired.
