The HJC RPHA 72 Carbon is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet built for riders focused on lightweight feel, stability at speed, and long-distance comfort. Offered in the Carbon graphic with Carbon and Matte Carbon color options, it pairs a carbon shell with wind tunnel-tested aerodynamics to help keep the helmet steady during faster street and touring riding.
A Pinlock-ready HJ-48 visor with a secure visor lock supports clear vision and consistent sealing, while the internal sun shield adds quick light control on the move. Inside, a moisture-wicking, anti-bacteria liner with glasses grooves and washable pads is designed for all-day wear, and the emergency cheek pad release system supports easier helmet removal when needed.
Construction
RPHA 72 Carbon uses a premium carbon shell designed to keep overall weight low while maintaining high strength and effective impact dispersion. Carbon-specific finishing details include a gunmetal vent frame and a carbon label. A titanium double D-ring chinstrap completes the fit system for a secure, race-ready feel.
Shield
The helmet uses a Pinlock-ready HJ-48 visor with an anti-scratch coating and 99% UV protection. Its smooth ratchet mechanism is designed for improved sealing, and a push-release visor lock helps keep the shield secured. A dynamic multi-step internal sun shield adds distortion-free clarity with an anti-fog coating.
Ventilation
HJC’s ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System routes air from front to back to move heat and humidity out of the helmet. With 2 intake vents and 2 exhaust vents, it’s designed for consistent airflow and improved defogging. The advanced anti-bacteria interior fabric is moisture-wicking and quick-drying, with removable, washable crown and cheek pads plus glasses grooves.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 72 Carbon shell shape is wind tunnel-tested to reduce drag and improve stability at higher speeds. This focus on aerodynamics is intended to help the helmet stay composed in fast airflow, supporting a steadier ride feel on open road stretches and longer highway miles where wind pressure and buffeting can increase rider fatigue.
Ventilation
HJC’s ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is built to move air through the helmet from intake to exhaust, flushing heat and humidity outward. The layout uses 2 intake vents and 2 exhaust vents to promote steady circulation, supporting cooling during warmer rides and helping manage visor fogging in changing conditions.
Comfort
Inside, the RPHA 72 Carbon uses advanced anti-bacteria interior fabric aimed at moisture-wicking and quick-drying comfort. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable for easier upkeep over time, and integrated glasses grooves are shaped to improve comfort for riders who wear eyewear. For removal support when needed, the helmet includes an emergency cheek pad release system. It is also compatible with HJC Bluetooth systems 21B and 50B (sold separately).
