The HJC RPHA 72 Carbon Fynex is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet built around a lightweight carbon shell for riders who want confident stability at speed without giving up everyday comfort. For airflow management, the ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System moves air front to back to help clear heat and humidity, supported by 2 intake vents and 2 exhaust vents. Vision is handled by the Pinlock-ready HJ-48 visor with an anti-scratch coating, plus an internal sun shield with a multi-step adjustment and anti-fog coating for quick light changes on the move.
Construction
RPHA 72 Carbon uses a premium carbon shell that focuses on ultra-lightweight wear with high strength and effective impact dispersion. Carbon-specific finishing details include a gunmetal vent frame and a carbon label. The helmet also incorporates an emergency cheek pad release system designed to support quicker, more controlled helmet removal when needed.
Ventilation
Its shell shape is wind tunnel-tested to help reduce drag and improve stability at higher speeds. For cooling, the ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System routes airflow from front to back to help flush heat and humidity. A 2 intake vent and 2 exhaust vent layout supports consistent airflow and improved defogging during changing conditions.
Shield
The Pinlock-ready HJ-48 visor provides 99% UV protection and an anti-scratch coating, using a smooth ratchet system with improved sealing and a push-release visor lock. Inside, the advanced anti-bacteria fabric is designed for moisture-wicking and quick-drying comfort, with removable and washable crown and cheek pads and glasses grooves for eyewear-friendly fit.
The RPHA 72 Carbon Fynex uses the Pinlock-ready HJ-48 visor to support clear vision and dependable closure. The visor is finished with an anti-scratch coating and provides 99% UV protection. For daily usability, HJC pairs it with a smooth ratchet mechanism intended to help the shield move predictably while improving sealing along the eyeport. A push-release visor lock is also built in to keep the shield secured during the ride.
For rapidly changing light, the internal sun shield offers distortion-free clarity with an anti-fog coating. The mechanism uses a dynamic multi-step design, allowing the rider to fine-tune the drop position rather than relying on a single stop. This setup makes it easier to adapt to sun angle shifts, roadside shade, and longer street or touring rides where lighting can vary throughout the day.
Comfort and retention are addressed with an advanced anti-bacteria interior fabric designed to wick moisture and dry quickly. Both the crown liner and cheek pads are removable and washable to help manage long-ride buildup. Glasses grooves are integrated to improve comfort for riders who wear eyewear. A titanium double D-ring chinstrap is used for secure fastening, and the emergency cheek pad release system is included for quick removal support.
