The HJC RPHA 72 Carbon Lis is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet built around a carbon shell and refined aerodynamics for street and touring use. Wind tunnel-tested shaping focuses on reducing drag and improving stability at higher speeds, while the integrated sun shield makes quick light changes easier to manage without swapping shields.
For all-day comfort, it uses advanced interior fabrics designed to wick moisture and dry quickly, along with removable and washable crown and cheek pads. Venting is handled by HJC’s ACS system to move air front to back and help clear heat and humidity. The helmet is also set up for HJC Bluetooth® systems 21B and 50B (sold separately) for riders who want communication on the road.
Construction
RPHA 72 Carbon uses a carbon shell designed to deliver high strength and effective impact dispersion while helping keep overall weight low for reduced fatigue on longer rides. Carbon-specific finishes include a gunmetal vent frame and carbon label, reinforcing the helmet’s premium build details without changing the core fit or function.
Shield
The Pinlock®-ready HJ-48 visor features an anti-scratch coating, 99% UV protection, and smooth ratchet operation with improved sealing. A push-release visor lock helps keep the shield secure. For changing conditions, the internal sun shield uses a dynamic multi-step design with an anti-fog coating and distortion-free clarity.
Ventilation
HJC’s ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is designed to move air from front to back to help evacuate heat and humidity. It uses 2 intake vents and 2 exhaust vents for consistent airflow and improved defogging. Comfort details include glasses grooves, plus an emergency cheek pad release system and a titanium double D-ring chinstrap.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 72 Carbon shell profile is wind tunnel-tested to help minimize drag and improve stability at higher speeds. This aerodynamic focus supports a planted feel in airflow while riding on the street or during long touring stretches, pairing with the helmet’s full-face coverage and premium carbon construction for a refined on-road experience.
Ventilation
Ventilation is handled by the ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, designed to move air through the helmet from front to back. With 2 intake vents and 2 exhaust vents, the system is intended to maintain steady airflow and help flush heat and humidity, which can also contribute to improved defogging when conditions change.
Comfort
Inside, the helmet uses advanced anti-bacteria interior fabric designed for moisture-wicking and quick-drying performance. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable to help keep the fit feeling fresh over time. Glasses grooves add comfort for eyewear users, and the emergency cheek pad release system supports quick, controlled helmet removal when needed.
