The HJC RPHA 72 Ernem is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet built for riders who balance everyday use with long-distance miles. Its streamlined design focuses on a lighter feel, stable performance, and a refined fit meant to stay comfortable from the first mile to the last.
With a Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.) composite shell, Advanced Channeling Ventilation System for front-to-back airflow, and a moisture-wicking interior with a semi-neck roll for improved noise control, it’s designed to help reduce fatigue on extended rides. The Pinlock®-ready HJ-48 visor and the HJ-V12 dynamic multi-step internal sun visor make it easy to adapt to changing light and weather conditions without breaking focus.
Construction
Built around a Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.) composite shell, the RPHA 72 is designed with a lightweight approach and a secure fit. It is certified to DOT FMVSS 218 Approved & ECE 22.06 standards and uses a titanium double D-ring for fastening. Reflective trim and an emergency cheek pad release system are also part of the helmet’s design.
Ventilation
HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System is designed to move air from front to back, helping flush heat and humidity during warm rides or long days in the saddle. Intake and exhaust vent placement is intended to keep airflow consistent through the helmet. Inside, the semi-neck roll design is paired with a moisture-wicking liner to help manage comfort and reduce noise distractions.
Shield
The Pinlock®-ready HJ-48 visor is designed for clear vision on the road, with 99% UV protection and scratch resistance stated for long-term use. For quick adaptation to changing light, the HJ-V12 internal sun visor uses a dynamic multi-step adjustment, letting the rider fine-tune coverage without swapping shields or stopping to change eyewear.
Ventilation
The Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS) is engineered to create continuous airflow through the helmet, pulling air in and directing it through internal channels to help push heat and humidity out. By focusing on front-to-back flow and using strategically placed intake and exhaust vents, the system is designed to keep conditions inside the helmet more balanced. That consistent ventilation approach supports comfort during warmer weather, stop-and-go commutes, and longer highway stretches.
Communication
The RPHA 72 is Smart HJC ready, designed to integrate with the 21B and 50B Bluetooth communication systems (communication unit sold separately). The helmet is built to accept the system cleanly, aiming for quick installation while maintaining comfort and the helmet’s overall shape. This setup supports common on-road needs such as calls, GPS prompts, and music while keeping the helmet’s fit and feel as the priority.
