The HJC RPHA 91 Carbon Elig is a modular motorcycle helmet built for riders who rack up serious road miles and want comfort that holds up from the first mile to the last. It pairs a carbon fiber shell made with HJC’s P.I.M. EVO construction with a streamlined modular shape aimed at a smooth, stable ride.
Designed with touring versatility in mind, it features a 2-way pivot chin bar for a more compact profile in the up position, a Pinlock-ready HJ-37 shield system, and a pre-installed dark smoke sun shield for changing light. Inside, the antibacterial liner and removable, washable crown and cheek pads help keep long days more comfortable.
Construction
The RPHA 91 Carbon uses HJC’s P.I.M. EVO shell construction that combines carbon fiber with high-performance reinforcement materials. The result is a lightweight, balanced feel intended to help reduce fatigue on long rides, along with carbon-specific trim and a gunmetal-colored vent frame that match the helmet’s premium touring focus.
Shield
A secure visor ratchet system is designed for quick, straightforward shield changes. The Pinlock-ready HJ-37 visor is anti-scratch coated, provides 99% UV protection, and works with the included Pinlock insert. A dynamic, multi-step internal sun shield is built in, with a dark smoke sun shield pre-installed.
Ventilation
For airflow management, the helmet uses five intake vents and seven exhausts to move air front-to-back. Maximum performance top and low vents help tune cooling for varying conditions. A neckroll system is designed to reduce wind noise, and the included chin curtain and breath deflector add comfort-focused coverage around the lower opening.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 91 Carbon is built around a refined modular profile intended for touring practicality. This built-in readiness is intended to keep installation clean and compatible for riders who want on-road communication, navigation audio, or entertainment while touring, without changing the helmet’s core fit and function.
