The HJC RPHA 91 Combust is a modular motorcycle helmet built for riders who put serious miles on the road and want long-haul comfort with a quieter ride. Its streamlined modular design focuses on reduced wind noise and stable aerodynamics for highway touring and weekend escapes.
The RPHA 91 uses HJC’s Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.) EVO shell design, pairing a lightweight, balanced feel with a refined profile. It’s equipped with a Pinlock-ready HJ-37 visor system, a pre-installed dark smoke sun shield with multi-step adjustment, and touring-minded ventilation with top and low vents. Standards: DOT Approved.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 91’s 2-way pivot chin bar is designed to reduce wind noise and air drag, while also keeping a more compact profile when the chin bar is in the up position. A neckroll system further targets wind noise reduction for a calmer experience during extended highway miles.
Shield
A secure visor ratchet system is designed for quick, straightforward shield changes. The Pinlock-ready HJ-37 visor is anti-scratch coated, provides 99% UV protection, and supports a Pinlock lens insert. A dark smoke sun shield comes pre-installed and uses a dynamic multi-step design to fine-tune its position.
Comfort
Inside, the helmet uses an antibacterial interior with removable and washable crown and cheek pads to help keep fit and feel consistent over time.
Aerodynamics
The RPHA 91’s aerodynamic shell is built from high-performance materials infused with epoxy resin and fiber tissue. The shell shape is intended to manage airflow for improved stability at speed and a smoother feel in the wind. Combined with the helmet’s streamlined modular profile, the design is tuned for touring riders who want a more composed ride on long highway stretches.
Construction
