Street-ready Airflite styling with dual shield setup

The ICON Airflite™ Bugoid Blitz Helmet is a street riding motorcycle helmet built around an injection-molded polycarbonate shell and an intermediate-oval headform. It’s designed for riders who want a clear, adaptable view of the road across changing light conditions, thanks to the combination of a Fog-free Fliteshield™ and an internal DropShield™.

Construction

Shell and fit profile

Airflite™ Bugoid Blitz uses an injection-molded polycarbonate shell intended for strength and durability, shaped around an intermediate-oval headform.

Shield

Shields and visibility

For managing changing lighting, the helmet combines a Fog-free Fliteshield™ with an internal DropShield™. A Clear Fog-Free Fliteshield™ comes installed, and the helmet also includes an RST Blue Fog-Free Fliteshield™. The internal DropShield™ is Dark Smoke, and the Dropshield™ visor is intended to be used only when the main face shield is fully closed.

Ventilation

Airflow, liner, and extras

Airflow features include multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports plus a recessed twin channel supervent cooling system. Inside, a Moisture-Wicking Hydradry™ removable comfort liner is used for comfort and upkeep. A removable molded breath deflector and chin curtain help manage airflow around the face area, and internal speaker pockets are designed to work with ICON's R.A.U. Bluetooth device.

The Airflite™ Bugoid Blitz Helmet is set up with details that suit typical street changes like shade, sun, and traffic-speed airflow. The quick-change Fog-Free Fliteshield™ uses sideplates for serviceability, while the Fog-Free Dropshield™ uses an exterior switch for on-the-fly operation. Venting is handled through oversized intake and exhaust ports paired with the recessed twin channel supervent cooling system, and the removable molded breath deflector and chin curtain help tailor the front opening area to rider preference.
