Composite Shell Helmet with Rapid-Release Shield

The ICON Airframe Pro™ Outbreak Helmet is a motorcycle helmet built around a handcrafted composite fiberglass FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) shell and a feature set designed for everyday riding comfort and convenience. Low-profile vents are placed throughout the shell, paired with linear ported forehead vents to help manage airflow.

For a secure, functional shield setup, it uses a fog-free ICON Optics™ Shield with the Rapid-Release™ system and a Prolock™ positive shield locking system. A removable breath deflector and chin curtain round out the setup. It includes Clear & RST Silver ICON Optics™ Shield.

Shell and airflow design

A handcrafted composite fiberglass FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) shell forms the foundation of the Airframe Pro™ Outbreak Helmet. Low-profile vents are integrated throughout the shell, and linear ported forehead vents add a dedicated intake area to help manage airflow during rides.

Shield system and locking

The helmet uses a fog-free ICON Optics™ Shield paired with the Rapid-Release™ system for quick shield changes. A Prolock™ positive shield locking system helps keep the shield secured when closed. Included with the helmet are Clear & RST Silver ICON Optics™ Shield.

A sculpted neck roll is shaped to reduce jacket/suit interference, and the removable breath deflector and chin curtain allow the front area to be configured to preference.

This Airframe Pro™ Outbreak Helmet includes two ICON Optics™ Shields: Clear and RST Silver. With the Rapid-Release™ system, swapping between shields is straightforward, whether changing for lighting conditions or personal preference. The Prolock™ positive shield locking system is part of the shield setup, and the helmet’s fog-free ICON Optics™ Shield design is intended to keep the view clear in changing conditions.
