Modular Convenience with Dual Shields and Hydradry™ Comfort

The ICON Threshold™ Steady State Modular Helmet is a modular ICON motorcycle helmet built around an intermediate-oval headform and a handmade composite fiberglass shell. Its modular chinbar uses an easy open button for straightforward operation.

For changing conditions, it comes with a fog-free ThresholdShield™ installed and an internal dark smoke Threshold Dropshield™. Multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports help manage airflow, while the premium comfort liner uses moisture-wicking Hydradry™. Emergency release cheek pads add convenience, and it is compatible with ICON Helmlink™ Bluetooth communication (sold separately). Available in White across a wide size range.

Construction

Modular Shell and Fit

Built on an intermediate-oval headform, the Threshold™ uses a handmade composite fiberglass shell. The modular chinbar is designed with an easy open button, making it simple to operate when stopping or gearing up. This configuration is aimed at riders who want the flexibility of a modular design without giving up a full-coverage helmet shape.

Airflow Management

Multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports are integrated to move air through the helmet. With both intake and exhaust openings, the design is focused on providing consistent airflow management during rides and at varying speeds, helping create a more comfortable environment inside the helmet.

A fog-free ThresholdShield™ comes installed, and the helmet includes a Clear Threshold Shield™ plus a Dark Smoke Threshold Dropshield™. Inside, a premium comfort liner with moisture-wicking Hydradry™ is paired with emergency release cheek pads for added convenience when needed.

Communication-Ready Design

The Threshold™ Steady State Modular Helmet is compatible with ICON Helmlink™ Bluetooth communication (sold separately). That compatibility allows riders to choose whether to add a Helmlink™ system and integrate communication hardware without changing helmets, while keeping the rest of the helmet’s modular features, shields, and interior setup the same.
