ICON Ultraflite™ Solid MIPS® Helmet

The ICON Ultraflite™ Solid MIPS® Helmet is a motorcycle helmet built around an intermediate-oval head-form fit and a handcrafted FRP composite shell designed to balance strength with minimized weight. It includes a fog-free Clear Ultrashield™ and a fog-free DropShield Ultra™ with an exterior switch for quick changes in light.

Comfort and day-to-day usability are addressed with a premium comfort liner made with moisture-wicking hydradry and Ax®Suede, plus Emergency Release cheek pads. Airflow is managed through multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports and a recessed twin channel supervent cooling system. For riders who want to add audio, it is upgradeable to the HelmLink™ Bluetooth® communication system (sold separately).

Construction

Shell and Fit

The Ultraflite™ uses a handcrafted FRP composite shell intended to provide optimum strength while keeping weight minimized. Fit is based on an intermediate-oval head-form shape, helping match a common head profile. Sizing and color options are offered in Gloss Black and Gloss White across a wide range of sizes.

Shield

Shields and Operation

For visibility management, the helmet features a fog-free DropShield Ultra™ that operates via an exterior switch, plus a quick-change, fog-free Ultrashield™ with side plates. A fog-free Clear Ultrashield™ is included, while the Dark Shield is not included. The DropShield Ultra™ visor must only be used while the main face shield is fully closed.

Comfort

Liner, Airflow, and Details

Inside, a premium comfort liner combines moisture-wicking hydradry with Ax®Suede to help create a custom fit feel. Venting comes from multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports along with a recessed twin channel supervent cooling system. Emergency Release cheek pads are installed, and a removable molded breath deflector and chin curtain allow straightforward setup changes.

Shield

MIPS® and comm readiness

This Ultraflite™ Solid model is equipped with the MIPS® safety system. It is also designed to be upgradeable to the HelmLink™ Bluetooth® communication system (sold separately), allowing a rider to add communication features later without changing helmets. For shield selection, the included fog-free Clear Ultrashield™ is ready to use out of the box, and shield operation guidance for the DropShield Ultra™ should be followed during use.
