Garmin · Wearables & Smartwatches
The Garmin MARQ® Golfer (Gen 2) - Carbon Edition in the Modern Tool Watch configuration blends on-course golf performance with everyday smartwatch capability. Built around a stunning AMOLED (always-on) touchscreen with traditional button controls, it’s designed for golfers who want premium materials and deep course intelligence in a wearable they can keep on all day.
It comes ready for serious rounds with preloaded full-color CourseView maps and features such as Virtual Caddie, hazard information, and enhanced PlaysLike distance. Off the course, it supports training and wellness tracking, smart notifications when paired with a compatible smartphone, and long battery performance up to 16 days in smartwatch mode.
Virtual Caddie helps guide club selection using factors such as wind, elevation and swing data. A shot dispersion chart adds another layer of strategy by showing what hazards may come into play depending on the club chosen, helping golfers commit to a plan before the swing.
More than 43,000 full-color CourseView maps come preloaded to support golf around the world. Course updates for frequently played locations can be downloaded, keeping key visuals and course details current for planning tee shots, approaches and layups.
For more detailed club analytics, the watch pairs with the included Approach® CT10 club tracking sensors. This enables expanded tracking capabilities such as locations, distances and club type, supporting a clearer view of performance trends across the bag.
Navigation
On-course tools are built to help shape strategy from tee to green. Green View shows the true shape of each green and allows the pin to be moved for improved accuracy. Hazard View makes it easy to scroll through hazards on the map and check key distances. For blind shots, PinPointer indicates the direction of the pin. Green contour data can also be viewed directly on the device on select courses with an active Garmin Golf™ app membership.
Design
The Carbon Edition is engineered as a luxury modern tool watch with a 46 x 15 mm case made from fused carbon fiber with a titanium rear cover. It features a domed sapphire crystal lens and a titanium (Grade 5)/fused carbon fiber bezel, plus a perforated leather and FKM rubber hybrid strap. The 1.2” (30.4 mm) diameter display delivers 390 x 390 pixels on an AMOLED (always-on) touchscreen, backed by traditional button controls.
Battery
With a rechargeable lithium ion battery, the watch is designed to stay in play across golf, training and everyday wear. Battery life is rated up to 16 days (6 days always-on) in smartwatch mode and up to 42 hours (30 hours always-on) in GPS Only. It also supports Battery Saver Watch Mode up to 21 days and Max Battery GPS up to 75 hours, helping balance performance and runtime across different use cases.
