The SHOEI GT-Air 3 Agility is a full-face motorcycle helmet built around next-gen sport-touring priorities: quiet aerodynamics, strong ventilation management, and a clean, tech-forward design. It’s rated 10 of 10 for Street and 10 of 10 for Touring, making it a natural fit for riders who spend long hours in the saddle and want features that stay easy to use on the move.
The GT-Air 3 pairs an AIM shell with an EPS liner, uses a CNS-1C Shield with an internal QSV-2 Sun Shield, and includes a Pinlock EVO Lens for fog management. The Agility graphic is offered in Agility TC-1 and Agility TC-5 across a full size range from X-Small through XX-Large.
Construction
Built with an AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell and an EPS Liner, the GT-Air 3 Agility focuses on a lightweight, flexible outer shell design paired with an energy-managing liner structure. It also incorporates an Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) for the cheek pads to support helmet removal when needed. DOT Certified.
Shield
The CNS-1C Shield is designed for high optical quality with a large usable field of vision, with a central locking mechanism intended to stay easy to operate with thick gloves. A QSV-2 Sun Shield is integrated for quick light management. The improved sealing and a refined slightly open position help increase airflow and reduce fogging.
Ventilation
A Defogger Ventilation System works with inlets positioned in the air stream and outlets placed at an optimized height to help reduce heat and humidity inside the helmet. Vent sliders are designed to be glove-friendly, and ventilation channels are integrated into the EPS liner to route air through the upper head area and out through four outlet openings.
Aerodynamics
The GT-Air 3 shell shape is developed and tested in SHOEI’s large in-house wind tunnel with the goal of controlling airflow and reducing noise impact on the wearer. Distinct integrated spoiler edges, smoother transitions between the visor and shell, and a slimmed-down frontal chin area work together to support stable airflow at speed and help reduce fatigue during longer highway miles.
Safety Design
A redesigned stainless steel micro ratchet system pairs with a new strap constructed of high-strength, high-elasticity, high-performance fibers. The design is intended to be easy to handle and remain consistently adjusted, while the lever’s large release angle is designed to help prevent unintentional opening. This setup supports quick, repeatable fastening for everyday street and touring use.
Communication
The GT-Air 3 incorporates the SHOEI Comlink System to integrate with the optional SENA SRL 3 for a clean, “invisible” installation. With flush controls, an internal battery, and no externally mounted components, the system is designed to stay compact and aerodynamically optimized. A rear charging port is positioned for straightforward charging while the helmet sits on a flat surface.
