The SHOEI Hornet X2 CNS-2 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is a replacement visor built specifically for the SHOEI Hornet X2 helmet. It’s designed to deliver a clear, stable view with an optically correct field of vision and a reinforced upper rib that helps the shield hold its shape during use.
This shield uses 3D injection molding to support distortion-free clarity across the rider’s sightline, helping reduce visual fatigue on long rides. For changing conditions, it’s compatible with the Pinlock® CNS-2 Lens Insert (sold separately), and it’s made to be easy to remove and reinstall for quick visor swaps. Available in Clear, Dark Smoke, and Silver Mirror.
Precision 3D injection molding is used to maintain a distortion-free view and consistent optical clarity across the full field of vision. The result is a clean sight picture intended for long-term visual comfort, whether commuting or spending full days behind the bars.
A structural rib along the upper edge adds rigidity to the shield. This reinforced design helps resist bending during use, keeping the shield’s shape stable and the rider’s view consistent as conditions change on the road or trail.
This CNS-2 shield is compatible with the Pinlock® CNS-2 Lens Insert (sold separately) to help maintain visibility in variable weather. It’s also designed for easy installation and replacement, making it straightforward to swap visors when needed.

Ventilation
A molded rib along the upper edge increases rigidity to help prevent bending during use. That added structure is designed to keep the shield stable and maintain the intended optics while riding, supporting a consistent view when the helmet is in motion and the shield is exposed to airflow and real-world use.
