The SHOEI Neotec 3 Law Enforcement is a modular motorcycle helmet built for riders who want flip-up versatility with a focus on airflow and long-ride comfort. Offered in High Rise Black/White and Low Rise Black/White, it’s tuned for Street and Touring use, with Adventure capability reflected in the model’s riding-style ratings.
This Neotec 3 graphic combines an AIM shell with an Impact Absorbing Liner and a Defogger Ventilation System. It uses the CNS-3C shield system plus an internal QSV-2 sun visor for changing light. For daily usability, the flip-up mechanism is designed for easy operation, including with winter gloves, and communication integration is built in for an optional unit sold separately.
Neotec 3’s flip-up design gives the rider dual functionality, allowing it to be used as both a jet helmet and a full-face helmet. The opening mechanism is designed to be straightforward to operate, including when wearing winter gloves, making transitions easier during touring and around-town riding.
Ventilation is handled through the Neotec 3’s high-performance layout, with improved, closable air intakes and an insect filter to help keep debris out. Closable inlets at the brow and chin work with rear outlets to promote continuous circulation, while the helmet’s Defogger Ventilation System supports clearer riding in changing conditions.
A Stainless Steel Micro Ratchet System supports consistent, easy chinstrap adjustment for a secure-feeling fit. The Neotec 3 also incorporates the SHOEI Comlink System to keep communication integration streamlined; a communication unit is optional and sold separately, maintaining the helmet’s clean exterior appearance when set up.
Construction
The Neotec 3 uses an AIM shell constructed from layers of organic fiber and multi-composite fiber. Inside, an EPS liner system with multiple densities uses varying EPS elements to address shock absorption needs in different areas. Together, these components form the core structure of the helmet’s Safety / Shell design as outlined in the model information.
Shield
The newly developed shield system centers around the CNS-3C shield with a center locking mechanism designed to keep the shield securely in place. The redefined shield shape is intended to improve sealing against wind and noise, and the design focus includes minimizing optical distortion for clearer, more accurate vision on the road.
Communication
The integration is designed to preserve the helmet’s original look by keeping the system visually and structurally unobtrusive. A compatible communication unit is optional and sold separately.
