The SHOEI RF-1400 Marquez American Spirit is a full-face motorcycle helmet that blends the RF-1400’s compact, race-bred shape with a Marc Marquez-inspired American Spirit TC-10 graphic. Built around an AIM+ shell and a Dual Density EPS liner, it’s designed for riders who prioritize stability, controlled airflow, and a secure, comfortable fit.

Construction
The RF-1400 uses SHOEI’s Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ shell paired with a proprietary Dual-Layer/Multi-Density EPS liner. It also incorporates the Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) as part of the helmet’s safety-focused design approach. This Marquez American Spirit version is Snell M2025D and DOT-218 Approved.
Shield
A CWR-F2 shield is used with a 2D “flat” outside surface and 3D shaping on the inside to support a more natural view. Vortex Generators on the sides of the shield are designed to improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise, and a center locking mechanism helps distribute forces across the spring-loaded base plates.
Ventilation
Inside, the RF-1400 combines a Dual Density EPS liner with SHOEI’s 3D Max-Dry System II. Venting is tuned using SHOEI’s in-house wind tunnel approach, including a relocated center/forehead vent with an added intake hole, plus an enlarged rear exhaust outlet vent designed to pull warm air out more effectively.
Aerodynamics
The RF-1400’s shell shape is engineered around optimal aerodynamics to help the helmet move cleanly through the air. This aerodynamic focus is also intended to contribute to a reduction in wind noise, while still allowing riders to hear important, informative road sounds. The result is a design emphasis on high-speed stability and a calmer ride environment built into the helmet’s overall form.
Comfort
Noise management on the RF-1400 is addressed through multiple elements working together: the aerodynamic shell shape, Vortex Generators that reduce turbulence, and an airtight window beading designed to create a windproof seal. SHOEI also uses voluminous cheek pads and removable ear pads to help suppress internal noise while keeping essential road cues present.
Construction
The RF-1400’s interior comfort is supported by newly designed cheek pads that add more volume at the bottom for greater comfort and reduced wind noise.
