Shield
The X-Fifteen uses the CWR-F2R shield system. SHOEI’s 3D injection-molding process is designed to provide a distortion-free view across the entire eyeport, supporting a consistent sight picture whether the rider is tucked in or upright.
Comfort
Inside, the X-Fifteen features a 3D Max-Dry Custom Interior System II that is fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable. The fit-and-feel focus is intended to support long sessions in a full-face helmet environment without giving up a secure, track-oriented setup.
Ventilation
Ventilation is a key element of the X-Fifteen design. It features seven (7) closable air intakes and six (6) exhaust outlets, with shaping and placement intended to promote airflow and negative air pressure suction. SHOEI also notes significant improvements to the cheek pad cooling system to bring refreshing air in and clear humidity from the rider’s face more efficiently.
Aerodynamics
SHOEI developed the X-Fifteen’s aerodynamic behavior with extensive study and refinement in its wind tunnel facility. The goal is a shape that supports high-speed stability and balanced aerodynamic performance measurables, which matters most when riding at racing pace or spending time in a tuck.
