The SHOEI X-Fifteen Valion is a full-face motorcycle helmet built around SHOEI’s racing-driven X-Fifteen platform, pairing a lightweight feel with an aggressive approach to airflow. Offered in Valion TC-1, Valion TC-10, Valion TC-5, and Valion TC-8, it’s aimed squarely at riders who want a track-focused design that also rates highly for street use.
The X-Fifteen uses an AIM+ shell and an Impact Absorbing Liner, and it’s equipped with the CWR-F2R shield. For day-to-day comfort and clarity, the helmet includes a Breath Guard, Chin Curtain, and Anti-fog Sheet. Certification is listed as Snell M2025R, DOT and ECE R22.06 Approved.

Shield
A CWR-F2R shield is used on the X-Fifteen. SHOEI’s 3D injection-molding process is used to help deliver a distortion-free view throughout the entire eyeport. For fog management support, an Anti-fog Sheet is included with the helmet.
Ventilation
Ventilation is a core part of the X-Fifteen design, with seven (7) closable air intakes and six (6) exhaust outlets positioned to maximize airflow and negative air pressure suction. The cheek pad cooling system is also improved to help move refreshing air across the rider’s face and clear humidity efficiently.
Aerodynamics
SHOEI describes aerodynamics as one of the most studied properties in racing development, and notes that the X-Fifteen delivers improvements across aerodynamic performance measurables—supporting a design intent centered on high-speed stability and racing use.
Comfort
Inside, the X-Fifteen features a 3D Max-Dry Custom Interior System II designed for comfort and performance. The liner system is fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable, allowing riders to tune fit and keep the interior fresh over time. A Chin Curtain and Breath Guard are included to complement the helmet’s overall ride comfort package.
