The Alpinestars Stella SMX Air Jacket is a women’s street motorcycle riding jacket built for warm-weather riding with a sport-focused fit. A mesh main chassis with mechanical stretch emphasizes airflow and mobility, while stretch inserts help the jacket move naturally in a riding position.
For changing conditions, it includes a detachable windproof liner to help reduce airflow. Protection-minded details include perforated 450D polyfabric reinforcements in key areas, DFS Lite external shoulder sliders, and included Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor. It is also Tech-Air® Ready with expansion zones, allowing integration with Tech-Air® 5 airbag systems (sold separately).

Comfort
A women’s-specific fit is tuned for sport riding comfort, with strategic stretch inserts on the side torso and upper back to help reduce restriction while moving on the bike. Waist adjusters help dial in a secure fit. A detachable windproof liner helps manage airflow when conditions change, and a waterproof internal pocket keeps small valuables secured.

The Stella SMX Air Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and built with expansion zones to allow proper integration with Tech-Air® 5 airbag systems (sold separately). The jacket’s stretch zones are also designed to support natural mobility in a riding position, helping the fit and feel stay comfortable while accommodating the airbag system’s required space.
Fitment
For riders who want additional coverage, the jacket includes a back protector pocket designed to accept an Alpinestars long back protector upgrade (sold separately). This allows the protection setup to be tailored to preference while keeping the jacket’s street-focused, warm-weather design and women’s-specific fit at the center of the package.
