The Warp 9 Racing Stem Lock is designed to help solve a common issue on bikes where head bearings keep coming loose, often caused by the OEM star nut walking up the steering tube. This kit uses a threaded rod that runs the full length of the steering tube so the bolt can compress the lower triple clamp to the upper triple clamp, helping keep the headset bearings tight. It also supports W9 fender adapter compatibility for forks without a fender mount on the lower clamps, thanks to a machined lower retaining nut with built-in fender mounting threads. Available in multiple color options for a clean, custom look.
Instead of relying on the OEM star nut, this kit uses a threaded rod that runs the full length of the steering tube. Tightening the bolt compresses the lower triple clamp to the upper triple clamp, helping prevent the setup from loosening over time and keeping head bearings tight.
The lower machined retaining nut is built with 2 5mm threads to allow you to mount a fender. This makes it compatible with a W9 fender adapter-style setup for forks that do not have a fender mount on the lower clamps.
To help dial in steering tube height, the kit includes 4 black steering tube height spacers. Spacer sizes are 20mm, 15mm, 5mm, and 3mm, making it easier to stack to the height needed for your specific setup.
