Yoshimura
The Yoshimura ALPHA Premium Muffler Repack Kit is a replacement service parts solution designed to keep Yoshimura Road exhaust systems performing as intended by the manufacturer. Yoshimura states these systems should be repacked every 7,000 - 10,000 miles, helping maintain the exhaust’s designed airflow and sound quality.
This kit fits the models shown in the fitment table, including select Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha applications. By replacing dirty, restrictive packing, the muffler can return to freer airflow from the motor, helping restore lost power and reduce the sound degradation that can come with overdue service.
Materials
This kit includes premium packing material intended for scheduled muffler service on Yoshimura Road exhaust systems. Yoshimura notes that old packing can become dirty and restrict airflow, so repacking at the suggested interval helps the exhaust continue operating the way it was designed.
Installation
Along with packing material, the kit includes rivets and rivet bands to support a proper repack and reassembly. Having the specified fastening components on hand helps streamline the service process and supports a secure, finished install.
Included
To finish the repack, the kit includes an Alpha name badge plus repack instructions. The included guidance supports correct service steps, while the badge helps maintain the muffler’s ALPHA identity after the repack is completed.
Performance
Yoshimura explains that Yoshimura Road exhaust systems need periodic repacking, with a suggested interval of 7,000 - 10,000 miles. Over time, packing can become dirty, which Yoshimura notes restricts airflow from the motor. That restriction can result in a loss of power and a degradation of sound, making regular repacking an important part of keeping the exhaust behaving the way it was designed to.
Installation
Built as part of Yoshimura’s Replacement Service Parts product line, this ALPHA Premium Muffler Repack Kit combines the key consumables and hardware needed for the job. The kit’s contents include premium packing material, rivets, rivet bands, an Alpha name badge, and repack instructions, allowing a single kit to address both the internal refresh and the required reassembly pieces.
