Engineering
RS-12evo uses an all-new hydroformed titanium muffler shape designed to efficiently use the area near the airbox, subframe, and shock. Yoshimura engineered the fitment to nest with the stock side panel, delivering a custom tailored layout that supports clean packaging on the CRF450R/RX platform.
Technology
A two-piece muffler resonator is incorporated to fine tune power, reduce sound, and further improve durability. The system also features a header resonator developed in cooperation with Honda HRC teams, intended to maximize power across the spectrum while enhancing rider connectivity.
Sound
Yoshimura’s Precision Taper Fit sound inserts are a patent pending system created for straightforward removal and installation of sound inserts and spark arrestors on RS-12 and RS-12evo mufflers. The exhaust includes the INS-32-K sound insert; spark arrester options are listed on the page.
Materials
This Signature Series Exhaust System carries Yoshimura’s RS-12evo development into a full-system configuration with a titanium muffler and titanium pipe material. It also features an all-new RS-12evo carbon end cap, created as part of Yoshimura’s continued focus on form and function for the RS-12 platform.
Engineering
The RS-12evo hydroformed header primary is designed to exactly match the oval exhaust port and provide a smooth internal transition from oval to round. Yoshimura notes increased durability through reduced welded connections, along with improved fit enabled by the repeatability of the hydroforming process. A cast manifold is used to add strength and durability while supporting easier installation and removal.

Designed for Honda CRF450R 2027 and Honda CRF450RX 2027, this full system is shaped to integrate closely with surrounding bodywork, including a fit that nests with the stock side panel.
