The Yoshimura RS-9T Dual Premium Muffler Repack Kit 550g is a replacement service parts kit designed to refresh dual RS-9T mufflers and keep an off-road exhaust working as intended. It fits Honda CRF250R 2018–2021 and Honda CRF250RX 2019–2021 (see the fitment table below).
Yoshimura notes that off-road systems should be repacked after 6-8 hours of use, or after each Race. Repacking at those intervals helps prevent dirty packing from restricting airflow, which can lead to lost power and degraded sound. This kit includes the components needed to repack dual RS-9T mufflers and bring back freer airflow and improved exhaust tone.

The kit includes Silent Sport Premium Packing Material in 550g x 2 QTY. Fresh packing helps restore freer airflow from the motor compared to dirty packing that can restrict flow, supporting the exhaust’s intended function and helping recover sound quality.
For a complete refresh, the kit includes Stainless Rivet (C3-RIVET x 16 QTY), Rivet Band (RBYM9 x 4 QTY), and RS-9T End-cap Decals (RS9-NB004L x 1 QTY / RS9-NB004R x 1 QTY). These components support a proper reassembly after repacking.
Sound
Yoshimura explains that off-road mufflers require regular repacking to maintain the way the exhaust was designed to perform. Over time, dirty packing can restrict airflow from the motor, which results in a loss of power and degradation of sound. By replacing the packing at the suggested intervals, airflow is restored for freer breathing and the exhaust note is improved, helping keep the system consistent through repeated hours of use and race conditions.
